Communication doesn’t have to become more difficult with age. We may just need to do it differently. EVERYONE is part of a community and needs easy communication and social engagement. Whether hindered by vision or mobility, an older adult aging-in-place, a resident in independent living, or a local neighborhood, it is about staying engaged and active.  We’re creating a suite of Alexa Skills for health and well-being – to stay informed, involved and actively engaged.

Marvee creates voice experiences to provide the ability for folks to initiate a hands-free and voice-driven action for tasks, activities and entertainment with ease. No matter your type of community, we bring voice content  – relevant news, safety tips, activities, interactive stories, games and fun to the community and social circles you engage with. We design both private and public voice experiences for our suite, and for other organizations.

A Note from our Founder:

Hello! As a company committed to voice-first solutions for older adults, transparency and user experience value, I wanted to offer an update on our Marvee Community Suite. The idea for a Community voice-designed platform was birthed back in early 2016. We began development of our initial consumer voice experience in 2016, and design and development for social circles in 2017. Yes, we were early!  As the market was just recognizing the power of voice assistants, folks were new to their devices and Alexa, and Amazon was evolving their Alexa Service capabilities, I made the decision to slow down design and development to spend 2017 and into 2018 focused on user experience.

2017 to the present, we’ve spent thousands of hours with older adults, families caring for elder parents, senior living communities and various member organizations serving the older population. We spent the past year listening to real-life user experience scenarios, capturing request priorities, and workflow and life snafu’s. We’ve surveyed and trained thousands on how to use Alexa, we’ve spent time living in senior living communities, and interviewing community organizations and families. It’s been a wonderful year understanding how we can best serve the over-65 population, families and care providers. We’re working hard behind the scenes, and offer our apologies to those early adopters on our Community Suite waiting list! The time spent staying in stealth mode has been invaluable in our commitment to address social isolation and well-being. Our goal has always been to bring the best voice-designed solutions to the older population, and the communities that surround and serve them. We’re doing a lot of training, consulting work, and we’re slowly releasing some of our private skills to the app store for public enjoyment. We look forward to the future and all voice offers for quality of life.
